About Us

Hi there! We’re Bailey and Kelsi, the founders of Building Little Brains. Our mission is to help you connect with your children in a creative, science-based, and meaningful way.

Bailey is the creative designer, bringing fun and imagination to everything we do, while Kelsi, an occupational therapist, ensures every activity is developmentally intentional. As mothers to both neurotypical and neurodiverse children, this business grew from our personal experience and the work we were already doing with our own kids to help them reach their fullest potential.

We’re truly passionate about what’s inside each box and the positive impact it can have on your family. We can’t wait for you to experience it with us!

The Science Behind What We Do

Our brains are constantly growing and changing. Neural pathways reorganize and strengthen as we interact with the world around us. This incredible process, known as neuroplasticity, is the foundation of everything we do at Building Little Brains!

Research shows that the brain develops from the bottom-up, with basic sensory and motor skills forming the foundation for higher-level cognitive abilities. Every activity in our box is thoughtfully curated with this in mind. Plus, the Brain Boost tips on each activity card offer OT-approved ideas to further support the development of foundational skills.
